The sun is out finally!  Nothing like a bit of sunshine to brighten a day literally and emotionally!  A friend is battling cancer and not having a good day - many prayers sent for her today - needed to see the sun and Son!

Bunco is at my house this week so clean, clean, and clean.  Not that I am in a high maintenance group but a dozen women in  your house can make you nervous!  The bunco group is a great group.  Had\ve had many "trials" in the lives of this group and we still all show up and let go for the night. Everyone needs to laugh and have the support of a group at some point in our lives.  I am an only child so the support of "groups" of friends is basically what I depend on when times are tough!  I watched a Dr. Phil show one time (not a regular viewer) and he said 'everyone needs at least one friend to depend on'.. more is good but someone without one friend is someone to worry about.  So lets all either be that one friend for someone or look for that one friend.  You never know when the sun might not be shining!

I wanted to start a blog with just "random" happy thoughts on life in general.  No specific topic or soapbox - just observations.  But today has not been a happy one.  My husband's cousin died of pancreatic cancer at age 51. Too young.  Left two little boys and wife. So sad. So just to keep it short and simple today - if you are healthy, be thankful. Life is short and can be cut shorter at any moment.
